ANNOUNCEMENT
One bucket. One big dream.
Before the sun rises, Lucia sets out with her little brother Marcos to fetch water from a faraway river. The long walk leaves them tired, and most days there is no time or energy left for school. Still, Lucia holds on to her dream of sitting in a classroom, learning, laughing, and building a brighter future.
When a group arrives to help her village to build a clean water well, everything begins to change. Water is finally close by. Marcos grows strong again. And Lucia finds herself in the classroom she has always imagined, where dreams start to take shape.
This is a heartfelt picture book about courage, community, and the way clean water can open the door to new possibilities.
